What is WoodrowFest?WoodrowFest is one of the largest and most impactful fundraising events organized by the Exchange Club of East Dallas, dedicated to supporting graduating seniors of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. Established in 2015 by proud Woodrow alumni and Exchange Club board members Brian Bessner (Class of 1993) and Clay Drury (Class of 1992), the event was created with a clear mission: to provide meaningful financial assistance to students who aspire to pursue higher education but lack the resources to do so. Every dollar raised through WoodrowFest goes directly into the Scholarship Fund, ensuring that 100% of contributions benefit Woodrow seniors. Thanks to the generosity of the community and the tireless efforts of organizers, the event now awards multiple $20,000 scholarships each year to deserving students. Since its inception, WoodrowFest has distributed over $590,000 in scholarship funds—opening doors, changing lives, and empowering the next generation of leaders and creatives. |

The Woodrow Wilson High School Alumni Association is currently seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to fill two key roles: 🔹 Secretary | Help keep us organized and informed! Responsibilities include: Participating in board decisions and votes Coordinating and attending quarterly meetings Taking and distributing meeting minutes Collaborating with a fun, committed team of volunteers
🔹 VP Department of Fundraising | Play a vital role in supporting our mission! Responsibilities include: Building relationships with potential donors Creating and promoting sponsorship opportunities Working closely with the officers to meet fundraising goals
